“NO ATTACHMENT”

The exhibition “NO ATTACHMENT” focusses on paper as a material.Paper is a material that can be everlasting as well as ephemeral. Sometimes it carries information, other times it is a blank unwritten page.Paper fibres can be transformed into different properties and surfaces.The exhibition is organised by Annamaria Leiste and Barbara Schrobenhauser, who found jewellery artists who use this material in a wide range of possibilities.The pieces in the show are delicate, colourful, surprising, conceptual, narrative, interactive…

The show will take place in Papierwerk Glockenbach, a studio space that was started by Raphael Grotthuss and Annamaria Leiste in 2016. The project began as a dream during their studies and came true directly after having completed their diplomas at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich. The paper studio is a combination of a personal studio for both artists and an open studio where classes and exhibitions take place.
